COST & MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANCY(CMA) : 

  • It is professional course organized by the The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, Kolkata. 
  • The Members of this profession are in great Demand in India as well as Abroad. The members can go for employment in Top notch MNC’s/ FMCG/Govt. Sector.
  • Demand for this profession is increasing year to year, due to very good employment and practice opportunities.
  • To become a member of CMA, a student has to clear the following three phases.
    • Foundation
    • Inter
    • Final

CMA Foundation:

1.Eligibility:

  1. A candidate should have passed class 10 or equivalent from a recognised board or institution.
  2. Passed senior secondary examination under 10 + 2 scheme of recognised board or equivalent examination.

2.Provisional registration: Students who appeared or enrolled for senior secondary examination are also eligible for apply for registration. Within 6 months from date of registration the pass certificate can be submitted for confirmation.

Due dates for Registration:

  1. For JUNE Exams – 31st January.
  2. For DEC Exams – 31st July.

4.Registration fee:Rs. 6,000/-

5.Documents Required for Registration:

  1. Regular Registration:10th Mark Sheet, 12th/2nd PUC Mark Sheet, 1 Passport Size Photo. 
  2. Provisional Registration:10th Mark Sheet, 12th/2nd PUC Exam Admit Card, 1 Passport Size Photo.

6.Subjects:

  • Paper 01: Fundamentals of Business laws and Business communication.
  • Paper 02: Fundamentals of Financial and Cost Accounting
  • Paper 03: Fundamentals of Business Mathematics and Statistics
  • Paper 04: Fundamentals of Business Economics and Management

7.Examinations: Exams will be held in the month of JUN and December in a calendar year.

8.Pass Criteria: Student has to secure 40% in each subject and 50% in aggregate.
